Services

• Editing - When I edit, I look at both the grammar and the overall piece and intended audience, paying attention to consistency, design, and intended purpose. My goal is to make sure the piece shines and communicates what you want it to communicate.
  
  
• Writing (Web and Print) - My gift is taking hard-to-understand concepts and expressing them in ordinary, everyday English. I have published two books on math that are geared for average readers and express difficult concepts simply. Having written books, magazine articles, marketing pieces, and website content, I'm familiar with many different types of writing. When I write, I look at where the piece is going, who it is coming from, and its purpose. I strive to keep the "voice" of the company or individual from whom the piece is coming.
  
  
• Marketing - Good marketing copy doesn't just describe a product or service--it connects with a need the user has and shows how the product or service will serve them. My marketing writing experience includes press releases, fliers, a brochure, online marketing copy, newsletter promotions, advertisements, and magazine promotions.
  
  
• Video - Videos are powerful modes of presenting your product or service to potential buyers or clients as they communicate on so many different levels. I have written, edited, and produced a variety of different short videos used in Internet marketing and have experience in promotional, instructional, and chronological projects.
  
  
• Design - From brochures to book covers to business cards to website images, I design material with clear communication in mind.
